UMW Circles

are how we connect in small groups with shared interests.

We are women who live in community with other women on the same journey of knowing, loving, and serving God.

United Methodist Women put faith, hope and love into action as a supportive, inclusive community who strives to improve the lives of women, children and youth locally and around the globe. Come join us in building communities of strong women! For more information, contact our UMW President, Lynda Shillito at her email.

Strangers No More

Strangers No More is a combination of Jewish and Christian women from around Kansas City getting to know one another as women of strong yet differing faiths. They meet for coffee to enjoy lively conversation about almost anything (except politics). There is usually a conversation-starter to help get to know one another. Pick up a cup of coffee on the way – you are welcome anytime! More information

Ministry to Incarcerated Families

Learn about the L.E.A.D (Ladies Empowered And Driven) at Topeka Correctional Facility, click the video presentation, and consider helping families impacted by incarceration. Volunteer to serve as subject matter experts, to support family retreats, or to donate necessary supplies to help bring healing and hope to children.
