United Methodist Women

is faith, hope and love in action

Faith

Engage in spiritual growth that moves, molds and shapes hearts and hands; participate in our reading programs and educational opportunities annually to become more deeply rooted in Christ and put faith into action.

Hope

Our national mission institutions empower women, care for children, educate and equip youth, care for the neglected, advocate for social justice issues, create economic opportunities and strengthen neighborhoods.

Love

Our members give out of their love for the world and provide financial support for national mission institutions, higher education scholarships for international students, and 121 programs taking place in 110 countries.

In Action

United Methodist Women members’ voices are heard around the world as they call for justice on issues such as immigration, human trafficking, domestic violence, health care and the environment. Over 800,000 members work for justice and support mission in a creative, inspirational and supportive fellowship. You can too!

UMW at Resurrection is a thriving part of Women’s Ministry overall, offering circles, groups and events. Take a look at those pages for specific details about the programs. The UMW Board is comprised of volunteer leaders that oversee our vision and programs in order to fulfill the purpose of putting faith, hope and love into action.

Our UMW is a local unit as part of the Great Plains Conference, which includes other churches throughout Kansas and Nebraska.
